Remodel and renovation to an existing house located on a secluded, wooded cove on Chuckanut Bay. The basic structure and the unique hand-split cedar siding were recycled and the beams and columns were covered with Douglas fir veneers. Floors consist of tiles of flamed granite and sandstone, which is carried throughout the house to outside terraces and decks. In addition to adding doors and windows, a continuous skylight was added to flood the interior with natural light from above.
